It is not surprising to me that michael reid considers that it perfectly acceptable to start a campaign for Christian family values whilst he himself was involved in a long term adulterous affair. The CCTV organisation seems to have been set up to tell everybody else how to behave!

It also did not surprise me that reid would get a number of well known Christian leaders to go on the board of CCTV to help his campaign. I consider that getting these people on board to give CCTV more credibility and status when he knew that the very principles he was campaigning for actually had no value at all in his personal life is just plain dishonest. We are not talking about a lapse here, or any opportunity to say the 'the devil made me do it'. We are talking about an 8 year affair!

It is also not surprising to me that the whole process came crashing to the ground. People don't get away with this sort of behaviour for ever. There are quite a few so-called Christian ministries where the leaders end up being publicly exposed as hypocrites because of their hypocritical and sordid behaviour. God will not be mocked. Eventually, at the appropriate time, He brings these foul individuals down and publicly humiliates them.

One can now only wonder about what else reid may have been involved in. It seems to be a perfectly reasonable question to ask. If a Christian minister, who knows the Scriptures inside out, can decide to get involved in such hypocritical behaviour then it would seem obvious that they no longer consider the Word of God to be of any importance whatsoever.
Anyone who feels like that clearly has no belief that God is real and that they will have to acount to Him for their actions. So the barriers are gone. When this happens the only thing that limits people's behaviour is the fear of being caught. I await with interest for further revelations.
