I understand that the our local paper, the Brentwood Gazette, are printing a story on Michael Reid tomorrow (Wednesday) concerning a serious allegation!

We understand that reid is still living in peniel church property. We are told that he refuses to move. reid is holding meetings in the house. He clearly has some support but it appears to be very limited, half a dozen cars at the last meeting and a few people who would have walked.

I hope they discuss the way reid corrupted Scriptures to control people, and how shunning and breaking up marriages and families and friendships is the mark of a cult as opposed to a church which is focused on Jesus Christ. I hope that reid preaches on how one can damage Christian families and Christian marriages and still turn to Christ and say 'I did these things in your Name and I want a reward and I want it now!!!'

Information on the events going on around Peniel Church is very unreliable. There seems to be so many different stories being spread around the place, one could be forgiven for suspecting that some stories are being deliberately spread to confuse the whole situution.

Reid is forced to admit to an 8 year adulterous affair. He announces that he has resigned from michael reid ministeries. Within a couple of days he appears to have changed his minds and withdrawn his resignation. He appears to have been keeping the lawyers on both sides quite busy!
